In the story
Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket, three orphans are in a taxi cab with a woman named Kit Snicket. Kit Snicket had been secretly following them hoping to finally meet them. Kit gives them very important information for their new jobs. The three children needed to be flauners... but needed to be disguised to do it. The Baudelaire's try very hard to be flaneurs and concierges, but it was very hard. After a while, the court comes for their trial. Not only are the Baudelaire's testified, but so is Olaf, a wicked man chasing them in disguise, he was too. The Baudelaire's are in trial with when all of a sudden they hear one of the judges stop talking. They look around and see that Olaf had got up and was carrying the judge away in a headlock. The Baudelaire's acted quickly and followed. After going after Olaf, they realized they would be caught by the authorities and thrown in jail, proven guilty or not. So, they "joined" Olaf's team and sailed away. I wonder what will happen in the next book on their next adventure!
