Series of Unfortunate Events #1~by-Lemony Sniket~162 pages

The Balduare children(Violet,Clause,and Sunny) lived with their mother and father. Their lives were perfect. One day the children went to go and skip rocks down at the beach. while at the beach,their neighbor told them about the teribble tragity. Their parents were killed in a fire. Their neighbor found a relative(Count Olaf), and sent them to live there. Count Olaf was awful. He was determined to kill the children, to get their fortune. The children are smart,but Count Olaf thinks he is smarter!
